BLO is here to simplify your organisation, not add pressure. Here are a few simple habits to make the most of it.

A simple message is enough: “Add a task to finish my group assignment”, “Remind me to send this email tomorrow” or “I have an exam on Friday”.
A class or appointment is an event. Revising a chapter or sending an email is a task. A task can have a date or reminder time without becoming a time block in your calendar.
Give a date or time for an assignment, exam, registration or important reminder. A task without a date remains completely valid.
Did you not do something? Has a date changed? Tell BLO or correct the information in the The iBlocus web app. This helps you keep a clear view of what comes next.
Avoid tasks that are too vague, such as “Revise the whole subject”. Prefer “Read chapter 3”, “Do exercises 1 to 10” or “Prepare the assignment outline”.
The Study programme turns your courses into study tasks. It helps you see what remains to be done and choose a realistic next step, without imposing a rigid schedule.
When enabled, the Morning recap gives you an overview of events, tasks and reminders for the day. It informs you; it does not decide for you.
BLO offers a clearer organisation, but you always choose what you want to do, postpone or ignore.
